here yesterday following an illness of a year, Mr. Fitch had 'beén in bed most of the time during his illness and underwent an operation last March. : The hair tonic company he founded at Boone, :1a., ‘in 1892 was sold to the Groves Laboratories, St. Louis, in 1949 for $2 millon.
