Floor Coverings

Three sorts of dirt get into your floor coverings. They are surface litter, like lint and threads; then there is the lightweight dust that gets about half-way down through the ile, or fibers, and last, worst of all, the heavier dirt, dried and pulverized mud and organic matter, brought in from the streets.
