A federal court consent. decree settlement has been made in a government suit which’ charged: two drug firms .with Sherman anti-trust violations in hard gelatin capsule operations, Eli Lilly & Co., pharmaceutical manufacturers, announced today. * Final action on the decree was taken in federal court at Detroit, Mich., the company said. Lilly and Parke, Davis & Co. agreed to make available all existing patents and to grant licenses . under patents issued during the next five. years on hard gelatin capsule-making and filling = equipment. They also agreed to offer for sale certain capsule equipment ~which previously had been leased.. Lilly said it still believes ft did not violate the Sherman act despite the agreement. It added that operating changes sought by the government “are ones to which (we) have no fundamental objection.”
