ernment attorneys sought today| to find a legal way of\ending all! trade between the United States, and Czechoslovakia. They feared legal difficulties will develop. The Senate recommended yesterday that all Czech-American trade be ended until the Czechs

Mr. Oatis is serving a 10-year prison sentence on spy ‘charges. The Communist government in Prague will not even let United! States representatives visit him. ‘Government attorneys said that the United States, in re-! taliation, can easily bar export! of American goods to Czechoslo-! vakia. The administration, by executive decree, can put all such exports under a licensing sys-tem-—and then issue no licenses.

Loss in Barn Blaze Near City Put at $10,000

An Indianapolis and volunteer units nearby communities fought a $10,000 barn blaze north of Indianapolis late yesterday. The owner, Miss Pearl Haverstick. RR 14, Box 649, said that in addition to the barn, also lost, in the fire were a cow and bhull,| a truck, miscellaneous farm machinery and 60 to 70 tong of hay. Firemen believe the fire started through spontaneous combustion in: the new hay. The cattle and machinery belonged to Wilbur Tyner, a renter on the farm Indianapolis Fire Co. 32 and volunteers from Carmel, Castleton and Ravenswood answered the call.
