He urged that the President cancel forthwith the Czech trade agreements and then appoint Ambassador Henry Grady as U. 8. representative to the trade agreements meeting to be held In Geneva next month.

Mr. Grady recently was retired as ambassador to Iran. A native of Marion, Ind. Mr. Oatis began his work with the Associated Press in Indianapolis. He was head of the AP bureau |in Prague when a Red court sen{tenced him to prison as a U. 8. | spy.
