Accidentally Wounded Parly in 1933, Mr. Corcoran was wounded critically by a bul16t fired accidentally by a blind friend. He was given several blood transfusions before he recovered. Surviving are his wife, Catherine; two sons, Michael Joseph and Thomas Whalen Corcoran; two daughtérs, Rita Jo and Shelia Ann, his mother, Mrs. Nellie Corcoran, and a sister, Miss Margaret Corcoran, all of Indianapolis. : His father, the late Timothy Corcoran, was a veteran of the Indianapolis Police Department.

Station St. Born in Uniontown, Ky. she came to Indianapolis 45 years ago. She was a charter member and past president of the New Bethel Women’s Club. She also had served as president of the Pastors’ Ladies Aid Society, the Ladies Aid Society of the church, and the Ministers’ Wives Alliance. She was one of the founders of the East Side Civic and Better Business League and was a member of the league's Booster staff. Only immediate survivors are a nephew, Walter 8. Dyer Sr. and a niece, Mrs. Sophronia Warfield, both of Indianapolis.

Services for the Rev. John G. Turner, organizer of the Community Baptist Church, will be at 1 p. m, tomorrow in the First Baptist Church of North Indianapolls. Burial will be in Floral Park. Friends may call at Jacobs Brothers Mortuary tonight.
The Rev. Mr, Turner died Saturday at his home, 955 W. 27th St. He was 78.
