| run off by Ayres’ at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon in the auditorium. The newly popular poodle cloth outfits were modeled along with three live poodles, thereby enhancing the canine-like quality of the material. Featursd fashions were the red and electric yellow toned ones indicating a Spanish influence. Even dormitory *“bang-arounds” picked up the theme with emphasis on these two colois. Included in the collection was a yellow print quilted robe of knee length seiling at $10.95. In definite contrast were the red and white candy striped flannelette baseball pajamas bound to make a hit in any dorm. = ” LJ JACKET costumes, for a long time the campus crowd's best friends, picked up the yellow in a flannel blazer teamed with a green and black plaid skirt and yellow knee socks. Other picnic combinations included plaid and plain, checks and tweeds styled into slacks, shorts and pedalpushers. Noteworthy for its doubleduty service was a reversible raincoat in red and yellow suited for rain or shine. A full navy coat styled with a half-pelt and pearl buttons, | and the traditional camelshair coat falling with restrained fullness, were selected by the store's college board for sportswear. The more sophisticated look. was illustrated with a shortie sheared beaver and a red and green checked box shortie accented with a beaver collar. Shirts, suits and coats in a variety of colors were emphasized with poodle cloth. For afternoon elegance, a threequarter black poodle’ cloth coat priced at $135 was shown.
