STUFFED CABBAGE

Remove outer withered leaves from one medium-sized head of cabbage. Plunge into boiling water for five minutes. Hollow out center from top leaving a shell of cabbage like a bowl,

Mix together one pound cooked ground beef or pork, one cup cooked rice, or bread crumbs soaked in milk, one minced onion, one teaspoon salt and one-fourth teaspoon pepper. Put mixture into cabbage. Pour over it one cup meat &tock or bouillon made by dissolving bouillon cube in boiling water. Cover cabbage top with cabbage leaves, and place cabbage ‘with raw whole carrots around it if desired on a rack with one-half cup water in a pressure cooker saucepan. Place cover on cooker and indicator weight on vent pipe and cook 10 to 12 minutes with sted at cook position. Cool cooker at once, Serve surrounded by shreded beets or whole carrots on hot platter.
