Gen. Collins and Mr. Perkins faced secret questioning by the Foreign Relations and Armed Services Committees, joined forces to consider the ad-| ministration’s $8.5 billion foreign, military-economic aid bill. Mr. Pace told the Senate Military Spending Subcommittee in a; closed door session yesterday that “the free world may be confronted at any moment with Communist aggression in Iran, Yugoslavia or some other international soft gpot. “At any moment, should the Boviets see fit to attack, we may be fighting another world war,” Mr. Pace said. Mr. Pace's warning of the possibility of a Russian strike through South East Europe and a total war was the third in recent days,

The Army Secretary told the| committee that despite “risks” involved, the military establish-| ment still favors a policy of limited rather than total mobilization. He said limited mobilization would permit a rapid buildup if full mobilization 18 necessary, and could be sustained for a long period without an economic crackup. { Mr. Pace also told the commit-| tee that the Pentagon's new $60 billion defense budget would have to be followed by later requests for more funds if the Kaesong| truce lalks fail. {

Trailer Stabbing Case Goes to Grand Jury
Accused of stabbing a woman visitor to his house trailer, Travis Rawlings, 50, was bound over to the Marion County grand jury, with his bond reduced to $2000 from $5000, Rawlings, who appeared before Judge Paul C, Wetter in Beech Grove Magistrate Court, was charged with assault and battery with intent to kill. Rawlings was arrested July 15 after Mrs. Edith Houser, 26, Earle Hotel, charged he had raped and stabbed her as she slept in his trailer at 3836 RocRville R .
