Willman said he spect as much as $800 an ounce for heroin. He told Paul Brigham, U. 8. narcotics agent for Indiana, that he made those purchasés in another state. Willman refused to name the peddlers. He pleaded guilty to forging four prescriptions in Indianapolis drug stores to obtain dilaudid, a dope dbout four times as powerful as morphine. He fled the state after those, offenses in April 1949, and lived, in Tennessee for nearly two years. !

He was caught recently in North Vernon when he tried to obtain more narcotics with a forged prescription. The druggist became suspicious and checked with the doctor, who said the pre; scription was phony. Police nabbed Willman wie F he waited ‘for his “kicks.” Mr. Brigham said Willman! would have been a good man if] he had laid off the “junk.
