Hearing Set on Bus Rate Hike for News Letters
The Indiana Public Service! Commission has scheduled an Aug. 28 hearing on whether bus rates for news letters containjng| material for newspaper publica-| tion should be raised from 25 to| 50 cents. The higher rates went into effect June 1 on bus companies belonging to the National Bus Traffic Association. The Evansville Courier, Inc., protested, claiming the increase was “unjust.”
