Hospital Employee ‘Sick, Wave’ Spreads
MINNEAPOLIS, July 3 (UP)— An employee's “sick wave” spread to a sixth Minneapolis hospital today.
ish Hospital joined employees of five other hospitals who started walking out June 27. Hospital authorities said the walkouts hadn’t restricted their operations. Strikes against hospitals are against Minnesota law, But officials of the AFL Public Building Service Workers Union, Local 113, said the walkouts were purely “spontaneous” and unorganized.
