Ceremony Read At Five Points
St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at Five . Points was the scene, at 7:30 p. m, Saturday, of the marriage of Miss Elsie Jean Meyer to C. Robert Freese. The Rev, Louis Wambasganns read the double-ring service, The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Carl. H, Meyer, Indianapolis, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Freese, Columbus, Ind.
The bride wore a white satin gown with a flared skirt and a net yoke. Her fingertip illusion veil was held by a tiara of rhinestones and seed pearls. She carried a cascade of white roses,

Robert Meyer, brather of the bride, was best man, and ushers were John Hargrave, Fountaintown, and Harold Meyer, brother of the bride.
After a reception in the bride’s home, the couple left for a trip to Virginia Beach, Va,

Scholarchip awards of the Indiana Congress of Parents and Teachers were announced here today by Mrs. Malcolm M. Porter, Danville, scholar-
ship chairman. The scholarships, awarded to juniors and seniors in elementary and secondary teacher education, are in the amount of $200 and provide tuition, fees, textbooks, materials, tickets to auditorium series and athletic books.
