Filed by Attorney

After delving into the situation, they learned the suit was filed by Attorney Clifford IL. Hardy. He's the husband of Mrs, Mary A. Hardy, the JP's court clerk, “I knew I was supposed to get

{pay the two salaries.

| “The reason why they haven't

been paid is that the office wasn’t lincluded in last year's appropriations,” he said. “In fact, we {haven't had a JP for the last 8) lor 10 years. ) Didn't Know of Court | “I didn’t even know we had ia court up here.” i | The suit asks for $500 for Mr. | | Beechler and $375 for Mrs. Hardy. | {The amounts are for the first {quarter of the year. | { A painter, Mr. | mitted he'd had only two or three !minor cases this year.
