on IT IS IMPORTANT that Israel should reach a sound economic condition as soon as possible. Israel has accepted a burden of immigration that has emptied many of the refugee camps of Europe. This has lowered fhe cost to the United Nations of their operations for refugees in Europe. It will require outside aid to start these people on a new life. A democratic and prosperous Israel can vastly strengthen the position of the whole Near East, :

By JOAN PUNCTUALITY is a virtue. Being habitually late is always rude and inconsiderate — and sometimes dangerous. Are you the girl or boy who keeps the gang waiting? Well, some day they may get tired of your tardiness. They'll find out they can get along without you. Then where will you be? Out of luck, out of everything! It's hard to say which are the worst offenders — boys or girl. Traditionally, it's the woman who keeps a man cooling his heels while she dresses and primps. Actually teen boys are just as guilty. They arrive late for dates, they drop in at parties at all hours, they keep the gang hanging about at meeting places.
groom-to-be attended Butler ow. Punctuality Is Q Key Asset
» ¥ ”
SUCH dilly-dallying is out of date. Punctuality is in fashion. There's so much to do, so many places to go. Promptness is necessary if we're to keep our schedules.
Besides, there's the matter of etiquet. A gentleman never lets a lady wait for him. Ideally he should arrive one minute before schedule! And she should be ready on the dot. ’
The worst social offense is being late for a dinner engagement. If you're asked for seven, you're expected to arrive at that hour — not three-quarters of an hour later. If you're unavoidably detained, let your hostess or your date or your family know. That's what a phone is for.
