The more ijicomical these contests, the more fun the group will have and the affair will be a success if everyone is happy. | This race not only challenges the athletic type, but separate | races can be held for fathers and daughters, husband and wife, or fat and slim. We must be careful not to embarrass certain types of | people and never force people to participate, for they might have | some ailment which they do not like to tell about. ! Tie the partners near legs together with both people facing in' the same direction. Tie the legs, not too tightly, two inches below the knee with large bandanna handkerchiefs or rags. The course nhould be about 50 feet long for children, and they should run down and back to the starting line.
