The convention headquarters are located here but the new staff member will live in Peru.

He will travel over the state as field secretary giving assistance in a variety of ways to the 430 churches of the convention. The Rev. Mr. Knight will aid in building fund campaigns, try to find pastors for vacant pulpits and pulpits for pastors and give counsel as it is needed. He has been pastor of the First Baptist Church, Columbus, the past six years. He is a member of the General Council of the American Baptist Convention and has served on many boards in this state,
