WAYNE, May 24 - Police Chief Lester Eisenhut today said a spiritualist minister and 33 of her bingo-playing parishioners were arresteti on gambling charges because other churches had béen complaining. Brock said, however, that police had told her it was all right to run bingo. “Larger churches” had been permitted to hold bingo parties, she said. “I've never approved of plaving bingo.” the Rev. Brock said, ‘but the church members like it.” She said the parishioners “mostly elderly women.” were playing to raise money for a new church. Then she said, "so many policemen broke in you would think the prison walls were down.”

BISMARK, N: D.,, May 24 (UP) A Lanesboro, Pa.: man thought it over 29 vears and finally decided that he hadn't played fair with the North Dakota Workmen's Compensation Bureau.

The man wrote the bureau that he received compensation for an injury suffered near Grand Forks, N. D., in 1922 but that he wasn't really entitled to it. When the bureau couldn't find his file to determine how much he owed, the man sent a $75 check anyway,
