Bodies of 2 Local Gl's Among 420 Being Returned
The hodies of two Indianapolis men Killed in Korean fighting are
among those of 420 soldiers being United States aboard the Bartlesville \ictory. The Defense Department announced the ship might dofk at San Francisco today. Pvt. Herbert F. Brown, son. of Mr.# and . Mrs. Herbert Brown, 2406 Carrollton Ave, was killed in acdon last Armistice Dav, No details have reached the parents concerning the soldier's death. He was awarded the Purple Heart posthumously.

Brown, 20. a former basKetball player at Crispus Attucks. enlisted in November, 1947, and took basic-training at Ft. Knox. Ky. He later attended a shipning clerks’ school at Camp Lee, Va. and embarked for overseas duty in December, 194K, He was 2 member of the Senate Ave. YMCA. The second body is that of Pfc. Richard K.
