questions as “Do most women prefer well-heeled men rather than men who are merely interesting and intelligent?” and “Do most women become overpossessive as soon as they become engaged?” (In case you're interested, an overwhelming majority answered ‘‘yes” -to both questions). One definite fact was uncovered in the last poll, which should make feminine hearts beat with more optimism. It turned out that 89 per cent of the bachelors who answered said they might still get married. Only 11 per cent were in the bachelor business as
