Red Cross Seeks Nurses’ Aids

A call for hopeful Florence Nightingales has been {issued by the Indianapolis Red Cross

Nurse's Aid service. To fill a serious nursing shortage at Methodist Hospital, the Red Cross volunteers will first be trained in evening classes beginning the latter part of this month. Then they will enter service at the Hospital as assistants to the rursing staff—taking temperatures, giving back rubs, recording pulse rates and other tasks. Further information on the Nurse's Aide schedule at Methodist Hospital is available at the Red Cross chapter house, 1.1-1441.
