Ist State Parley Set By Indiana Hospital Auxiliaries Group |

Program Listed for All-Day Meeting Next-Friday at the Colymbia Club

The first annual state meeting of the Indiana Hospital Auxiliaries Association will be an all- day event Friday. in

the Columbia Club.

Theme for the ieeting will be “Hospital Service Through Auxiliary.” Mrs. Arthur A, Fairbanks, president, will be in charge. The morning session will include reports bv Mrs® Warner Wasson, Muncie, Ball Memorial Hospital; Mrs. Donald Ashbough, .Gary, Methodist Hospital Women's Auxiliary, Mrs. Forest Hardesty, Linton, Green County Hospital Guild and, Mrs Anne. Relteman,! Columbus, Ind., Bartholomew County Hospital Guid Mrs. John Kelly, St. Vincent Hospital Guild, will read a paper, “What My Auxiliary Means to ‘My Hospital” A problem clinic will be led by Mrs. Herman C. Fromer, Riley Cheer Guild William. B. Schiltges, Methodist Hospital board of trustees president, will be principal speaker for the post linc heon gesfion. He ru talk on “Auxiliary as Viewed — Board of Trustees.”

The association was begun Apr.| 14, 1950, within the framework! of the Indiana Hospital Associa-| tion, an affiliate of the American Hospital Association. Its purpose is to stimulate "nl terest in women in personal and community good health and in| the activities of the institutions with which they are affiliated so they may aid in hospital service “and help create better community’ understanding of organized hos-! pitalization. It grew out of a recognized need for a closer and more united relationship between the various hospital auxiliaries and the institutions ons they serve serve.
