Ex-IU Educator Dies at Age 74

Times State Service BL OOMINGTON. May 10 — Services for’ Prof. Joseph A. Wright, former Indianapolis journalist and professor’ at Indi-| ana University, will be at 10 a. m. tomorrow in the First Christian Church here. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. He was T4. Prof. Wright died Sunday in Fldon, Iowa, whérf# he had lived the past two months. Formerly he had lived in Phoenix, Ariz. «wince his retirement in 1547 after teaching journalism for nearly 25 years at Indiana University. Born in Ohio A native of Mechanicstown, O., Prof. Wright was once a reporter and copyreader on the Indianapolis Sentinel, exchange editor of the Indianapolis News, and assistant city editor of the indianapolis Star. An Army veteran of World War 1, he later taught in the journalism department of the University of South Dakota. He was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and a member of Delta Tau Delta farternity,
