Man Marooned on Ledge After Fall Is Rescued

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Cal, May 10 (UP) An amateur hiker, marooned on a ledge of Yosemite. Falls, was res cued by park rangers yesterday who reported he suffered from shock and a ‘positive compound ankle fracture” in a fall.

Rangers radioed that they had located Harry Wolschon, 20. of Detroit, Mich., perched on a rocky ledge nearly 1500 feet above the floor of Yosemite Val ley. They estimated it would take at least five hours to complete a slow trek down the cliff. The injured youth's condition
