MELBOURNE, May 10 (CDN) = Tradition, yielding to necessity, will allow pupils at the Melhourne Church of England Girls’ Grammar School to wear Slacks, to classes this winter. - School authorities have reluctantly OK'd slacks to keep the girls warm. Electricity rationing

classrooms during the worst winter months. Slacks will be allowed only at &chool, however. Pupils must still wear thair traditional school uniforms going to and from choo, the authorities rule.
