Narcissus are really blooming |

in fine array. Look over attractive plantings you might copy in your own yard this fall at planting time. Visit the Narcissus Show {natyrally) and jot down names of a new variety or two to add to your own collection. A sprinkling of high phosphate chemical fertilizer around narcissus now will help produce larger flowers next year. » - »

MAGNOLIAS are blooming. |

They transplant best when in flower. Plant them where they can have all the room they want to develop (specimen planting). Give them good drainage. Half compost and half sand in the planting hole will please them. The most frequently seen is the delicate soulangeana or saucer magnolia. Variety Lennei is darker colored, blooms later, the blossom more lily shaped. The lovely white sta® magnolia is an early bloomer.
