there tomorrow and Tuesday, from 9 a. m. to 9 p. m, tomorrow, and from 9 a. m. to 6 p. m. Tuesday. Contestants, except first place winners, will call for their garments at the library. Tuesday between 6 and 9 p. m.

The first-place winning garments will be sent to New York for the national judging next month and from June 3 to 7 the national observance and awarding of prizes will be held there. During this period there will be a style show of national winners’ entries in the Sert Room of the Wal-dorf-Astoria Hotel. Any Indianapolis entrant winning a first prize in New York will receive $200 and a three-day, all-expenses-paid trip to Manhattan for the event. In addition to the $200 firstplace prizes to be given in New York, there is a pair of special awards. These go to the home economics teachers who instructed, the national first-place winners in both divisions of the High School Group, and call for $250 each. In the local contest, Miss June Carr, 3901 Boulevard Place, placed first in the High School Standard Pattern Group, Date or School Dress, with an embroidered iridescent chambray. Second place winner is Miss Ann Abbott, 5553 Rockville Road. Her dress is of garnet luster broadcloth. Second - place awards receive $20.

Regensburg, 6037 Windsor Drive. She entered a black shantung suit with faceted jet buttons.

N THE Senior Standard Pattern Group, Tailored Dress, first prize goes to Mrs. H. E. Jackson, 1910 English Ave. Her entry is a navy faille coat dress with self buttons. Second place goes to Mrs. R. A. Thompson, 5051 W. 14th St. She made a natural linen with chevron-tucked bodice. In the Glamour Group, the first prize winner is Mrs. Dénhzil Scraper, Petersburg. Red nylon net over taffeta, its strapless bodice rhinestonestudded, won her the prize.
