Dr. Pearcy to Talk At Dedication

Dr. William T., Pearcy, executive secretary of the Disciples of Christ Board of Church Extension, will preach for dedication services Sunday in the new $130,000 Seventh Christian Church, 2916 W. 30th St.

The First Baptist Church of North Indianapolis has purchased the edifice which has housed the congregation for the past 67 years. It stands at 877 Udell St.

Dr. Pearcy will preach a sermon at 10:30 a. m. worship on the topic, “Faith in Action,” and at the 3 p. m. dedication on, “I Will Build My Church.” Sunday school classes will meet for the first time Sunday morning in the new building which includes both a worship auditorium and educational departments, The Rev. Howard F. Miller, church pastor, will preside at the day's festive services. He will be! assisted by the Rev. The fumes came from penetrating oil used on pipes being installed in the basement. The fumes drifted into the auditorium through the ventilating system.
