M, Apr. | 21-—An all-male jury took just 60 { minutes here today to return a | verdict of guilty against Dr. Nancy Campbell for kidnaping 9-year-old Linda Stamm last Nov. 10. District Judge Edwin L. Swope promptly sentenced her to 10 to 15 years in prison. The brilliant woman gynecolo- | gist, who had pleaded not guilty | by reason of insanity to charges she abducted the fair-haired daughter of a Santa Fe contractor for $20,000 ransom, heard the verdict with a face that turned suddenly unbelieving and
showing emotion for the first time in the five-day trial. Defense attorneys immediately said they would appeal. Bond was set at $40,000 pending appeal. Two hours later, bond was posted and Dr. Campbell was released. Dr. Campbell was taken into disappeared. FBI agents apprehended her, dressed in man’s clothing, at the gates of the Stamm estate where the FBI had laid a trap baited with a ransom money bundle for the kidnaper. Nearby the Stamm girl was found unharmed but drugged in the doctor's car. Film Star Recovering From Operation SANTA MONICA, Cal, Apr. 21 (UP)—Veteran movie actor Warner Baxter, 60, who thrilled a generation of moviegoers in romantic screen roles, was recuperating at home today after undergoing cranial surgery. Mr. Baxter,

Second prize is a $50 Savings Bond and third, a $25 bond.
The contest is open to all boys between the ages of 13 and 17 in [the circulation area of The Times.
How to Enter—Follow the picture quis from day to day and select the correct answer to the question asked with each picture. The first of the series of 12 pictures appeared last Sunday in The Sunday Times. If you missed any of the pictures, back copies may be purchased at the front desk in The Times office. When to Submit Entries—Don’t send any of the pictures until all 12 have been published. The last one will appear next Thursday, After the contest ends submit: ONE: Coples of the 12 pictures clipped from The Times during the contest. These should be pasted on seperate sheets oi paper and clipped together. TWO: An entry coupon on which you have checked the answers. The official entry coupon will be published in The Times on next Thursday along with the last contest picture.
