At the last meeting of the LOCKS AN’ KEYS Club Judy Cass, Pat McKinney and Mavis Prience were voted into the club. Beryl Hoppess, 1131 Bonar Drive, was hostess.
Marylee Schafer was elected president of the FLICKERS Club. Other officers are Marilyn Fredrick, vice president; Rosalind Miedema, secretary: Georgia Bloom, treasurer, and Shirley Davis and Edith Piel, sergeant-at-arms.

Mrs. Induk Pahk will talk on! “Women of Korea” Tuesday at the monthly meeting of the Indianapolis Branch, American Association of University Women. The 6:30 p. m. dinner will be in the Broadway Methodist Church. | During the American occupation of Korea, Mrs. Pahk worked for the military government as a radio lecturer in the department of public information. | A graduate of Ewha College, Seoul, she also has degrees from Wesleyan College in Georgia and Columbia University. Mrs. Pahk taught for a time at Ewha College where she was a leader in a Korean uprising against the Japanese. During the purge that followed the revolt, she was sentenced to six months solitary confinement in jail.

She took first place in the 100-yard free style meet in Elkhart last year, and has helped the team win several relays at swimming meets. With an eye cast toward the laboratory technician field, Joan plans to attend a Hoosier college or university next year. She is editor of the year book, assistant editor of the school paper, secretary of the Sodality, treasurer of the Catholic Students Missions Crusade and treasurer of the Beta Beta subdeb club. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, the 5 club, the St. Joan of Arc Junior CYO, the CBG subdeb club, the teen board of Extension magazine and the advisory board of Queens Work magazine. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. McMahon, 4023 Park Ave. are Joan's parents.
