Mrs. Hill Indorsed As Candidate for State DAR Regent

.- Backed by Caroline Scott Harrison Unit; Election to Be Held Here Next September

Mrs. Herbert R. Hill has been indorsed by the Caroline Scott Harrison Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, as a candidate for Indiana DAR Society regent.

Election will be at the 51st annual Indiana conference in In-

dianapolis next September

Present state vice regent, Mrs. Hill is a former state recording

gecretary and former National Society press relations chairman. ! After serving as house secretary for Caroline Scott Harrison Chapter, the oldest of Indiana's 91 DAR chapters, Mrs. Hill became the chapter's 25th regent. * Active on chapter committees and sponsor of its Golden Wheel (Junior membership) Committee, Mrs. Hill also is state vice president and national publicity chairman for the Daughters of Founders and Patriots of America and is Indiana Society, Daughters of Amerfcan Colonists, second state vice president. Candidates for other three-year term state offices to be filled at the conference were announced last night. They include Mrs. Harry H. Wolf, Muncie, for vice regent, Mrs. 8. L. McKinney, Huntingburg, chaplain, and Mrs. George W. Hays, Bedford, recording secretary.
