After seven postponements, Shortridge cut loose with a 9 to 1 victory over Franklin Township; - Decatur Central ran across a 25 to 6 bombardment of Mooresville; Broad Ripple bashed Brownsburg, 10 to 2; Ben Davis shut out Southport in the Cards’ opener, and Tech won its second straight NCC game, 4 to 3, at Muncie.
