Basketball’'s ‘World Series’ Pays | Visit to Coliseum Tonight at 8:30
By FRANK ANDERSON - | Basketball's “Wizards of Ahs’ meet a storybook team of collegians in the Coliseum tonight. The Harlem Grobetrotters and a Hoosier-studded College All-| Star crew bring their “World Series” of basketball to town at 8:30. A sellout crowd of 12.000 is expected. Tonight's game will be the 15th on the team's current tour. The : "Trotters held a 10-4 edge in wins! after a 70-61 conquest in St. Louis last night. The teams aren't strangers to Indianapolis. They played in the Coliseum . last year when the cross-country tour was inaugurated. This year’s jaunt opened, in New York's Madison Square Garden on Apr. 1 and worked from there to the West Coast. Drew Record Crowd The teams invaded rootball's Rose Bowl Apr. 9 and drew 31,648 fans. That crowd was believed to be record for basketball anywhere, anytime The game also marked the first time the Rose Bowl had been used for basketball. If the game tonight seems pointed to Hoosier patronage, there's plenty of evidence to support it. The All-Stars’ starting, lineup includes three former Hoosier high school stars. The
