WASHINGTON, Apr. 14—The House Un-American Activities Committee will extend its Com-munist-in-Hollywood investigation into the radio industry next Tues3a%, committee sources said today. . . : The committee expects to hear testimony by radio writer Sam Moore of New York, formerly of Hollywood. A committee spokesman identified him as former president of the Radio Writers’ Guild. Other witnesses scheduled for Tuesday are film writer Harold Buchman and character actress Anne Revere. All three are holdovers from this week's witness list.
| | Recess Slated After the Tuesday meeting the committee will recess the hearings until about Apr. 23, a spokesman said. Mr. Moore will be the first witness called from the radio industry in the present hearings. All others have been connected with motion pictures. The committee indicated that hearings will last at least until May 15. That was the date set for the appearance of Bea Winter, a Hollywood secretary named by actor Sterling Hayden as the person who recruited him into the Communist Party.
