CONSERVATION'S NEW BUILDING —To be finished in June.
Birds and Bees
Where can you see Indiana, all of it, without traveling hundreds of miles?
There's no other way if you insist on landmarks. But if it's the
natural resources, forests, parks,
animal life, birds and fish, it'll
soon be under one roof at the State Fair Grounds. The new Conservation building is moving swiftly to completion.
It will parade the state's nature lore, an education in an afternoon. It will have permanent aquarfums with bass and bluegills, perch and crappies, even the blind fish of caves. They won't swim in’ chlorinated city water. They wouldn't last long. They'll have natural well water. Outside will be the animal pens, as close to a zoo as the town will] have. There will be little foxds,| timber wolves, sums, a couple of mountain lions, a couple of bears (imported for; kids), deer, which have become
+ & nuisance, and bobcats.
The state's insects will be mounted, and back-lighted. And there are more bug fans than you think.

S. Department of Commerce. | The building materials division! said total value of new construc-| tion work was $848 billion, 14 per) cent higher than the first three! months of last year. Some of] this was traceable to higher ma-| terials costs, however.
