Washers Feud, Stores Suffer
Downtown stores are suffering from a feud among city window washers and their company. Tuesnight six store windows were smeared with hydrofluoric acid. The acid etches a brown stain into the glass and eats into the metal moulding which holds the plate glass store fronts in place. Estimated damage to the six stores is in excess of $15,000. Three men were released on $500 bond each today in Municipal Court 3 by Judge Joseph Howard,

Lewis, attorney for the company, said that the com~pany was ready to sign a’ con{ract with Mitten. not knowing he had no union authority; except for one clause. Police Kill Dog That Bit Nine
Police today shot and killed a bioody., brown-eared terrier that bit a man and eight children this
morning.
The head of the animal was being tested for rabies, but authorities believe that the dog had been hit by a car, causing the blood on his head Most seriously bitten were: Jseph W. Norris. 35, of 120 Geisendorff 8t., who was treated by his physician. Raymond Carlson, 4-year-oid grandson of Mrs. Nancy. Whitehead, 374 Beauty Ave. who was treated at General Hospital. Clothes of seven School 5 pupils were torn by the dog when he attacked them. None was seriously bitten according to School Nurse Betty Sowders.
