Mr. Abbett said Mr. Wampler’s motion to dismiss would be ruled on at a future date. He ordered hearings to resume as soon as the Public Counselor staff was able to prepare exhibits, in this case Apr. 20. Cost Set at $35,000 In final testimony for the utility, Alfred O. Norris, vice president and general manager, disclosed that his company plans to take up “immediately” the problem of injecting fluorides into the city water supply. Mr. Norris estimated the project would cost $35,000 a year, In return, local health officials have stated, Indianapolis children undoubtedly will face much less tooth decay. The chemicals seem to have less effect on adult teeth. Mr. Norris said the utility be-| gan consideration of the project! in response to a letter from Mayor Bayt, written after the City Council approved the idea.
