| “The requirement for facilities to support the reserve components will be planned on a joint utilization basis insofar as is practica-| {ble. This is believed to have been the intent of Congress at the time, [public law 783, 81st Congress, sec-| fond session, was passed.
“The organized reserve corps, armory program which was {funded by the 81st Congress in! {the amount of $16 million is cur-| (rently being held in this office pending completion of the allied] |studies. At this time it is not | [possible to give specific comment | {as to the structures included in |this program.
“You have my assurance that| {the construction programs of the| reserve components will be lim-| ited to locations where the anticpated utilization will |construction. I will be happy to advise you of further developments in this program. y
