Burial will be at North Salem, . Mr. Davidson -had been living in Danville since his retirement at the end of 1942, He was 78, Born in. Ladoga, Mr. Davidson spent his boyhood in North Salem. Following graduation from Butler University and of Indiana Law School, he entered legal practice here. He became associated with the legal department of Indiana Bell in 1914, remaining with the company until his retirement. Later, he practiced law in Danville with the firm of Davidson, Raber and
| Gibbs.
Mr. Davidson was a member of city, county, state and national bar associations, Phi Delta Theta fraternity, Downey Avenue Christain Church, Columbia Club, a trustee of Butler University and past master of Irvington
| Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by two daughters, Miss Katherine Davidson,
