Bears are comical creatures for they are so round and woolly and full of mischief. They can almost walk like a man, and their {| rolling gait makes us laugh as they move from place to place in [the zoo cage. Here is a way you can make a bear with a rolling | if gait, and it will really roll along. “ If you think that you cannot draw a bear, get a cardboard and i] experiment by making circles. If you have a pencil compass, you :§ can make these circles easily as shown. Without a compass find some glasses or jar lids, and draw your circles in this way. | Make the head, and then enlarge circles 2 and 3. Add ears, {} eyes, nose, tail, ard for before cutting the bear out. Cut out ij an extra circle the same size as circle three, Draw four feet around | - this circle, and clip through the center of the bear with a spread (ij clip so that the feet barely show as the bear rolls along. The four '} feet make a sort of “wheel” for the bear to run on. Make three || sizes for the “Three Bears.” TOMORROW-—Crayon Fun for Little Ones.
