To i —— ; By United Press WASHINGTON, Mar. 2—The government today asked a Secret Service agent to repeat to a federal court jury the detailed confession he said Oscar Collazo made of the plot to assassinate President Truman. y Joseph J. Ellis Jr, a Secret
gave the story yesterday in U. B. District Court where Collazo is on trial for the murder of White House Guard Leslie Coffelt in the Nov. 1 assault on President Truman's Blair House residence. But the jury didn’t hear him. Judge T. Alan Goldsborough sent the jury out of the room while he decided whether the prosecution
could present Mr, Ellis and other)
witnesses who questioned Collazo after the shooting.
- Collazo Admits Plan
Collazo also took the stand— with hry out. He readilly told How he and his slain ¢onfederate, II Torresola, planned the gun battle at Blair House. But Collazo, 37, insisted he “never had it in mind” to kill Mr. Truman and didn’t even know the President was at home at the time. He sought to pack up his at-| torney’s claim that he was ht erced into making incriminating] statements to questioning officers.
