Last year’s winner of the Broad Ripple Business and Professional Women’s Club Merit Award, Joan has various school and teen club experience in her background. She is secretary of the Student Council, treasurer of the Clef Club, publicity chairman of the Teen Music Canteen, and a member of the Honor Society, the dramatics and dance club, the Latin Club, the Booster Club, the Golden Singers, the Teen Sinfonietta and the Amiga, MLLE and Hit subdeb clubs. She plays both the >
piano and flute. Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Bechtold, 716 E. 7Tist St, are her parents.
