Methodists Will Give $100,000 Tomorrow to
Korean War Victims
Fund to Go for Food. and Clothing For Refugees of War-Torn Land
Methodists of Indianapolis with others of their denomination across the United States are planning to give $100,000 tomorrow
for Korean war victims,
The Korean offering is to be “over and above” the $1.5 million annually given on the fourth Sunday of February in the form of a “Week of Dedication” offering for Methodist Institutions at home
and abroad.
The Korean offering of the “Week of Dedication” will go for food. clothing and blankets for the Christian refugees of Korea. Of the 20.4 million South Koreans, it has been estimated that 2 mil-
lion are destitute.
