FOR CUTTING MAGIK

Jack Parke of Winona, Ontario, Canada, sends in this bit of

magic. Cut several strips of paper about one inch wide and from

twelve to sixteen inches long. By cutting several strips at once and pasting them all into rings at the same time, you will have a supply ready on hand to try on your friends. It only takes one ring to do the trick. Paste the ring so that there is a half turn in the paper as

shown in figure 2. When the paste is dry, cut around the ring on the dotted line, figure 3, so that you cut the ring evenly in half, You will be surprised to see that you still have a single ring, but it will be twice as big around as seen in figure 4.

Now cut on the dotted line, figure 4, again, and this time you

will be amazed to see that you now have twp interlocking rings. See if you can figure out how it works this way! Do you know any other tricks with paper rings?
