Teen Problems—
Teens Are
Changeable
2 dct r Even the 85s : 2 Are Afflicted Ra . By JOAN BOYS A ¥ E changeable— aren't we all? It's’ a teen trait ~due, usually, to shyness, to special circumstances or to preoccupation with other matters. You see, a boy may not be sure that he likes a certain girl, Or that she likes him. His mixed emotions and his uncertainty make him shy, wary of showing his feelings.
” Ed s ° THIS wariness is likely to crop up before his fellow pals or in the presence of adults, Other boys frequently tease a lad in love. And, unfortunately, a great many grown-ups do, too. You can't blame a boy for trying to escape this kidding. There's an old saying that 1bve is a part-time occupation men, a full-time one for n. A 16-year-old boy has ot on his mind--school work,

Fix Up That Dull Mantel
By ELIZABETH HILLYER
AT A RECENT gathering of decorators and home furnishings editors, the talk got around to mantel arrange ments.
These experts, who see homes “before” and “after” all over the country, agreed that mantel. arrangements stack up as one of the dullest features of the American héme.
. They believe, that the prim pair of candlesticks, or. hurricane lamps or plants or figurines, one at each end of the mantel with a picture or mirror centered above them, is multi- | plied from coast to coast more | than any other decorative ar- | rangement. |
