The twins are getting tougher to match. You've probably noticed that in finding twins for the pictures that have been published in recent weeks.
- But don't weaken. Some of them ARE tough to match, but they're just as tough for the other contestants.
Only one week remains. The judges figure that the Match the Twins contest winner will NOT have all 50 sets correctly matched. Perhaps 45 correct sets will win, or even 40.
That's for the top prize of $500. And if you come in second, it's still worth $100, and $50 for third. Other prizes are $10 and $5 each. .
So if you are stuck with several pictures that just don't seem to match, keep trying. And when all 100 pictures are published,

submit your combinations. Go ahead, take a few guesses. It costs nothing to miss.
And it's all a heap of fun, too.
Each picture has a matching twin. Eight sets were previously published, and there is one set to go besides today's
Clip today's set. Paste on a single sheet of paper each two pictures you think are twins. DO NOT SEND ANY PICTURES UNTIL YOU HAVE ALL 50 SETS OF TWINS.
The last set appears Sunday, Dec. 31.
You may submit any number of entries. Friends and members of the family may help you match the twins. Winners will receive their cash prizes
from The Times as soon as judges complete their selection of the best entries.

THE RULES:
|—The Indianapolis Times will award $1000 in cash to winners of the Match the Twins Contest. Prizes are: First, $500; Second, $100; Third, $50; 20 awards of $10 each; 30 awards of $5 each.
2—The contest is open to all residents of Indiana except employees of The Times and their families. Only one prize will be awarded to any one person.
3—The contest opened Sunday, Oct. 29, 1950.
Ten individual pictures are being published in The Sunday Times for 10 consecutive Sundays. The total will be 100 individual pictures, or 50 sets of twins. ;
4—Each person pictured will be the twin of another person whose picture was or will be published at some time during the contest. Some twins may be pictured on the same day, while others will not. Participants are to match each picture of a twin with the picture of the other twin.
5—Paste or in some way securely fasten each matching pair of twin pictures on a single sheet of paper. All 50 sheets are to be fastened to-
gether. Print your name and address on each
sheet.
6—DO NOT SEND IN YOUR ENTRY UNTIL ALL PICTURES HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED. The final set will appear in The Sunday Times on Sunday, Dec. 31. With this final set will appear a master score sheet on which you will enter the numbers of your matching twins.
7—Accuracy in matching twins will be the
chief consideration in judging the 53 winners. The -- “person accurately matching the most twins wins .
first prize; next best gets second. prize, and so forth. If two or more participants tie for prizes, they will be given an additional group of pictures to match and be asked to write a short statement about The Times.
8—After all pictures have been published, mail entries to Twins Contest, The Times, 214 W. Maryland St. All entries must be postmarked before midnight, Jan. 10, 1951. Entries must be mailed with first class postage fully paid.
9—In_ entering the contest, the participant agrees to accept the decisions of the judges as final and understands that The Times cannot return entries. ;
