6 L Gorin Killed in Crash

Griffith Lewis Gordon, 3236 N. Capitol Ave., composer and music instructor, was killed yesterday when his car rocketed over an embankment and overturned near Memphis, Tenn. He was en route to Biloxi, Miss, to pick up his son and return here for the Christmas! holidays. Mr. Gordon, music supervisor of 4schools in Wabash and instructor at Ball State Teachers College, George Peabody College in Memphis, and at Western State College in Bowling Green, Ky., had written several symphonies. One of them was played last year by the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.
