Wire Nerves Life of Building

50,000 Feet Found | Within Walls,” Floors |

Wire nerves are life givers to; modern buildings. Like the human body the building is dependent upon its electri-| cal system for energy to make the wheels turn.

Within the walls and floors of | the new building are 50,000 feet; of wire supplying current for 200 lighting fixtures with two to four] flourescent tubes in each unit.

Form Distinct Pattern

Part of the 500 flourescent tubes are used in the Neo-Ray louvred | aluminum ceiling. Louvred panels set in grooves in the ceiling form a distinct pattern against the background of the mirrored south wall of the Small cells in the panels are three inches wide and three inches high. They're shipped in a block 24 by 48 inches. ERR Hanging above the panels are white flourescent lights which throw light through the panels casting a pink soft glow over the salesroom and mezzanine. A four-foot span between the] ceiling and the roof simplifies re-| moval of panels for cleaning and | repair.
