Making party favors can be almost as much fun.as the party itself. If you are going to have a party with a musical theme, buy a bag of peanuts, some licorice gum drops, a package or twe of fuzzy pipe cleaners, and a tube of cement or glue to make these comical musical directors. If you make some other original | characters from peanuts, won't you send a sample to me? I would | like to" have them in my TRY IT collection to share with others
| for party suggestions.
Glue the two inch arms and three inch legs to the peanut as
| shown, and stick them in a’ gum drop base so that the figures will stand.
Paint the face white, and ink in the features and hair. Color the body black, leaving a white shirt front. Color the arms and legs black with paint or black ink, and-glue sheet music in ong hand and a toothpick baton in the other. Add paper ears if you I'like and an adhesive collar or tie. For the swallow tail coat cut a fork in a section .of black ribbon, preferably grosgrain.— MONDAY—Hold a walking puppet show,
