John Hembree John Hembree, a veteran of the Spanish-American War: will be buried Saturday in New Crown following services at 11 a.m. in The People's Funeral Home. Mr. Hembree, who was 72. died Tuesday in Billings Veterans Hospital. Born in Rome, Ga. he lived in Indianapolis several years at 120 Mcl.ean Place, Surviving are his wife, Annis M.: four daughters, Mrs. Mazie Gardner, Mrs. Ann Crane, Mrs. Wyona McConnell, Indianapolis and Miss Ruth Hembree, Los Angeles; four sons, Robert, Harry. and Julian, Indianapolis, and John Jr., Jamaica, West Indies.

D. P. Strode Dies;

Ex-State Senator KOKOMO, Nov, 2--Donald P. Strode, widely Known Kokomo attorney and former Indiana State Senator, died yesterday at his home. A lifelong resident of Kokomo. Mr. Strode was 65. He had been a practicing attorney for 44 vears. He suffered a broken hip recently and had been in failing health. He is.survived- by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Coffey, and a son, Robert M:, all of Kokomo. |

2 Women Injured In Auto Collision

Two women were injured early today in an automobile collision at Udell St. and Barnes Ave. Mrs, Ida Woods, 59, of 1139 W. 29th St. and Mrs. Margaret McDowell, 49, of 1138 W. 20th were passengers in-a car driven by Ralph E. T.yell, 43, of 1216 Fugene St. It collided with an automobile operated by Alfred D. Starkey, 41, 1248 Udell St. Both were reported in fair condition at General Hospital. :
